Brevan was really excited for the Utah vs. BYU game last week. In fact he had a dream about it couple days before. It was the first second in the first quarter and the score was already Utah 999 BYU 0. Too funny!

The neighbors across the street are crazy BYU fans and Brevan enjoys giving them a hard time about it since as you can tell, he is a Utah fan. Anyway, after the game last Saturday they brought Brev over a treat that was all red (see below.) What good sports!!!

Soccer

This fall Brevan played in a competition soccer league and he had a blast! Our camera is majorly slow so we were having a hard time getting a decent pic so, Brandon changed the setting to fast and he caught a couple action sets. As you can see the pics are one right after the other which looks kinda cool because you get an idea of what is going on.

Halloween Time

TRICK-OR-TREAT!!!

Brevan went trick-or-treating with his Dad this year so, Brandon and I took Sloane around to a few of the neighbors. Basically she was just getting more candy for Brevan and she loved it!

The worst ever!!!!

I meant to add this pic to my last post... So while in Disneyland we finally convinced Brevan to go on Splash Mountain and after the first little hill he was done. He went into a crying, freak-out, heart racing, panicking fit! He was saying things like "This is the worst ever! I want to go home! Mom, hold me tight!" It was so sad and I had to buy this pic so I could show him how brave he was to actually go on the ride. If you look really close you can see his little body between Leslie and I.

THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!!!!!

We just got back from a little Disneyland getaway with Brandon's cousin Leslie and her husband Andy and we had a blast! We left Sloane home which was hard because we all missed her like crazy! Brevan wanted to cut the vacation short because he missed her so bad (it was so sweet)but we were only gone three nights so we all survived.

Paradise Pier

If you look in the background you can see Heimlich poking out of the candycorn. It took forever to get this pic because he doesn't come out very often.

This would have been a cute pick if the RUDE lady did't walk right in front of my camera!! When we were waiting for one of the parades they had some people coming around playing games with the kids so Leslie and Brevan were shootin hoops.

The Great Pumpkin Patch

A couple of years ago we discovered this cute little pumpkin patch near our home and have since made it a tradition to pick out pumpkins there every year.

Happy BirthdayS!!!

On Saturday we had two birthday parties. The first was for my Grandma Beckstead who turned 90 years old!!! It was quite the gathering and she was loving all the attention. There was a program and a couple of her grandkids prepared a video which they taped her reminiscing about her life. They caught some hilarious footage and she has quite the skeletons in her closet... She admitted she named my Step-Father Dale after her ex-boyfriend and my Step-Father didn't even know until they showed the video at her party! Also, she told a story of how she begged her husband to get rid of their mean dog and he wouldn't so when he went into the hospital for awhile she starved the dog to death!!! She said "I hope God will forgive me!" She is a hoot and we love her for it!

The second party was for the nieces and nephews in my family. It was becoming a pain to get to all the kids birthday parties, so a couple of years ago we decide to draw names and have one big party a year. This year is was at my brother Landen's house and my sister-in-law JoDee way out did herself. It was pirate themed and there was a treasure hunt, games, and a pinata! As you can see from the following pics the kids had a blast. Thanks JoDee!!

Sloane is going to be a pirate for Halloween so I thought she should totally were her costume to the pirate party!!

The first game the kids played was "Walk the Plank," if they made it all the way across they got a sword.
Take note of Landen in the chair holding the hose. The grass was considered water so if you fell off he sprayed you. As you can see from his face he enjoyed this way to much.

The next game was called "Sweep the Deck" and Brevan was very proud of himself for winning both rounds. Good job Brev, the competion was stiff.

This game was called "Cannonball Blast" and each child had a balloon tied to their ankle. This was the only pic I got because I was yelling at my niece Coree to RUN!!!
