Princess Party

Sloane had the BEST party EVER for her 3rd birthday. The beautiful Princess Amerah came, and she was enchanting! They sang, danced, heard a story, and even made crowns with her. This party made even me want to be a princess. :) The little girls were in heaven, and it was truly magical. How will I ever top this party????

You are so breathe-takingly beautiful, and I love how girly you are. Everyone who meets you is immediately drawn to you, and you have such a sweet personality that comes from within. These words don’t even begin to touch on how amazing my Brevan is. He is such a bright, awesomely confident, and thoughtful little man, and words can’t express how proud I am of him. Happy 10th birthday to my beautiful boy. The last 10 years have been the best of my life… Thank you for being the coolest kid I know.

I {heart} penguins!

I haven't been to the Living Aquarium in awhile, so I was pleasantly surprised with the new additions. I especially LOVED the new penguins. If I could have one as a pet I would.... For real!

Sloane tried so hard to touch a sting ray, but her arms were just a little too short. However, Brev made a quick five bucks because I had to bribe him.... He is my squeamish child.

Loved spending time with my sissy-in-law JoDee and her little ladies, and my niece Syd (who pretty much does everything for Sloane when she is at my house, including changing her diapers.) Camryn cracks me up in this pic... What the freak is she doing???

Egg-tacular Day!

These eggs are not dyed!!!! They come out of the chicken this way! They are from my nephew's chickens, and I can't get over how pretty they are. Very cool!

My Mom and Dale made it home from AZ, YEAH! Check out their new ride... They traded in their slightly used, nice motor home for an even bigger and better one while down in AZ.

Since Dale had his stroke a year ago, my Mom is the driver. She drove the motor home while towing the car, and Dale's 3-wheeler(check out the bike.) :)

The outside TV is probably my fave feature.

Last week Brev had his 4th grade recorder program. I am not sure when he will ever put these new skills to use, but I do know I was able to pick up his recorder and play a mean version of Hot Cross Buns.... Guess I still got it. :)

Snowboarder

Little man has been having the best time snowboarding this year. He has a pass at Sundance, so he gets to go all the time with his Dad. One of his favorite new things is night boarding. In fact, he gets to do that tomorrow. Lucky guy. He really wants Brandon and I to take him before the season is over, but I need to start working out first so I can make more than one run. :) Brev is working really hard on his toe edge this year. Keep up the good work bud!

Potty Party Take I

So, I read this....

and decorated for a Tinkerbell themed potty party,

and Sloane was super excited,

and the "big girl" panties were a hit,

then we did A LOT of this. After about 8 hours and several accidents, she went potty! Sadly, she is a one hit wonder, since she hasn't been able to repeat this miraculous feat. I have surrendered to the fact that she just isn't ready. I am thrilled (sense the sarcasm), that we get to do this all over again in a couple months.

Nerf Wars and New Years

Happy New Years! This New Years, we had our two nephews, Easton and Cameron, spend the night. They had a blast playing Nerf Wars and banging pans, not to mention they were already excited because their new baby brother Riley was born earlier that day. Overall a great start to a new year!

I am pretty sure Brandon enjoyed it more than the boys! He was even sliding down the stairs head first trying to be all stealth.
